Purpose of the role
Selling to both new and existing customers is vital to expanding our presence in the payments industry with our innovative solutions. In this hybrid role, you will showcase exceptional sales skills, converting leads into revenue while also growing existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and new product sales. Strong communication and leadership are essential to engage C-level stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles with large enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities and tasks
  • You lead the entire sales cycle from first contact to closing, guiding all stakeholders in complex, consultative sales processes.
  • You take a hybrid approach combining farming (account management) and hunting (new business development) to grow both existing and new payment industry customers.
  • You drive upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and new data security solution sales in the payments industry to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • You have a proven track record in developing new markets in the payments and fintech space, especially with large enterprise and multinational accounts.
  • You confidently deliver compelling value propositions tailored to each stakeholder, from C-level to operational teams.
  • You qualify and develop leads from diverse sources, leveraging sales tools and CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Petal. 
  • You align diverse stakeholders, understand their needs, and address concerns to drive buying decisions in complex enterprise environments.
  • You stay actively in control of the sales process, anticipate objections, and adopt a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • You speak both business and technology language, helping customers build customized business cases that address their pain points.
  • You collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing and Accounting, BackOffice Sales to ensure a seamless sales process and consistent messaging.
  • You are passionate about selling innovative data security solutions to large, data-sensitive enterprises in Payment industry.
  • You understand data privacy, protection, and industry-specific security requirements to position our solutions credibly and effectively.
Professional skills and knowledge
  • Proven success in developing new markets in the payments and fintech industry.
  • Solid understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles and large deal conversion.
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation and data security needs (PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, PDPA, PII).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse decision-makers.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong internal network within customer organizations.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and consultative selling skills for C-level and operational stakeholders.
  • Hybrid sales mindset combining new business hunting with existing account farming.
  • Results-driven focus on upsell, cross-sell, renewals, and new product adoption.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and effective in a home-office environment.
  • Willing to travel extensively (minimum 50%) to meet customers and strengthen relationships.
  • Confident in leading the full sales cycle, delivering a high-quality customer experience.
  • Able to communicate both business and technical value to address customer pain points.
  • Collaborative team player working closely with Marketing, Product, and other internal teams.

Qualification
  • At least 5+ years of experience winning enterprise-level deals selling software and data security solutions.
  • Several years of successful experience in selling complex IT and payment solutions, ideally with a focus on data security and information protection.
  • Academic background in business, technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for consultative, value-based enterprise sales.
