Partner Manager


Purpose of the role
As a Partner Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of comforte AG by building, managing, and scaling a high-performing global partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for partner strategy, maintaining and growing the partner network and partner enablement. At first, you will be personally handling a small number of strategic partners (mostly in the US) and work to build up relationships with regional players in Asia. As comforte continues to grow, you will design and implement a strategy to evolve the partner organization, ensuring it contributes significantly to both revenue growth and market expansion.
Key responsibilities and tasks
  • Partner Strategy
    1. Identify the ideal types of partners for scalable growth (e.g., resellers, OEMs, integrators, consultants).
    2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan for the partner ecosystem.

 

  • Channel Development & Management
    1. Establish and scale a high-performing channel partner network
    2. Serve as the primary liaison for strategic partners.
    3. Monitor and maintain strong partner relationships at all levels – technical, commercial and c-level
    4. Collaborate with main partners to create and execute joint annual business plans
 
  • Partner Enablement & Sales Support
    1. Deliver partner onboarding and training to develop expertise in comforte’s solutions
    2. Enable partners to lead enterprise conversations around on-premises and cloud data protection
    3. Support partners in managing the full sales cycle and closing opportunities
 
  • Business Execution & Forecasting
    1. Manage partner pipeline, deal registrations, and forecast reporting in alignment with comforte sales leadership
    2. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure execution of joint go-to-market (GTM) plans and mutual objectives
 
  • Marketing & Lead Generation
    1. Plan and execute joint marketing events and demand generation campaigns with partners
    2. Support partners in building trust-based relationships with C-level stakeholders at prospective customer organizations
 
 
  • Product & Market Knowledge
    1. Develop deep expertise in comforte’s data security offerings and articulate their value in solving complex enterprise challenges
    2. Maintain an understanding of evolving customer needs, hybrid IT infrastructures, and security landscapes
Professional skills and knowledge
•  Proven track record in managing indirect B2B sales through channel partners
•  Strong understanding of:
  1. Enterprise IT and hybrid cloud environments
  2. Modern information security technologies and data protection solutions
  3. Complex selling methodologies and partner sales enablement practices
•  Skilled in business-need-driven, persona-based sales messaging
•  Experienced in facilitating onboarding, training, and joint sales engagement strategies

Qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in a complex sales organization
  • Track record in partner management and complex selling
  • Academic degree
