Technical Project Manager


Purpose of the role

Aa a Technical Project Manager, you lead complex implementation, integration, and deployment projects for comforte's solutions. This role combines strong project management discipline with hands-on technical coordination, secure architecture understanding, and high-level involvement in API, data flow, cloud, and infrastructure-related workstreams. You ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions for comforte's full product suite.

Key responsibilities and tasks
Technical Project Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery—from design and environment setup to integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Build detailed technical project plans covering infrastructure tasks, API integrations, security milestones, and validation checkpoints.
  • Track technical risks, dependencies, blockers, and ensure secure, on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation including architecture artifacts, runbooks, and risk logs.
  • Coordinate work across engineering, security, DevOps, and product teams to execute integration and deployment tasks.
  • Support environment provisioning, network validation, identity setup, and API/integration workflows.
  • Facilitate technical testing (integration, UAT, performance, security) and drive defect resolution.
  • Validate configurations, ensuring alignment with secure architecture requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Management (Technical Focus)
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, translating requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Communicate progress, technical risks, and changes clearly to client engineering and security teams.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture walkthroughs, and manage technical escalations.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams and promote accountability, clear communication, and technical excellence.
  • Mentor junior PMs on cybersecurity concepts, technical delivery patterns, and integration workflows.
  • Drive improvements to deployment processes, documentation, and technical delivery methodology.
Professional skills and knowledge

Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with most of the following:

  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools (such as:JIRA, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously within time and budget constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in environments with complex technical and security considerations.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and foster shared accountability.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable executing in fast-paced, rapidly evolving cybersecurity environments.

Additional knowhow and skills in the following areas are a plus:

  • Experience leading cybersecurity, data protection, or secure integration projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across security teams, engineering, and customer organizations.

Language:

  • English: required to be fluent both in oral and written communication, other language skills helpful but not a requirement

In addition:

  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites and comforte offices – mainly U.S., Canada, Latin America with limited International travel
  • Confidence - must immediately gain the confidence of customers, sales personnel and other management


Qualification
  • 5+ years of project management in enterprise software, cybersecurity, SaaS, FinTech, or similarly complex technical environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science a plus.
  • Experience managing secure software deployments, integrations, and cross-functional implementation teams.
