(Senior) Account Executive (m/f/d)


Purpose of the role
Selling to new customers is fundamental to grow in a new market space with a new product. In this role, you will demonstrate extraordinary sales skills to get the benefits and value proposition of our data security solution across. You will be accountable to convert leads into revenue and build a trustworthy brand. We are expecting outstanding communication and leadership skills to build relationships with C-level and all stakeholders involved in the complex selling process.
Key responsibilities and tasks
  • You lead the sales process from the first call to closing, and you give guidance to all stakeholders involved
  • You hunt for promising new opportunities and have shown success in developing a new market in an innovative technology space
  • You are a competitive professional who is keen to win deals and choose the most promising sales approach
  • You feel confident to create and articulate the value proposition to all stakeholders converting the value to their business to a compelling buying reason
  • You help to qualify and develop leads from all sources to create revenue opportunities and use sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Drift, Tech Target Priority Engine, Salesforce
  • You are able to align different organizational stakeholders (typically more than 5), to the value-proposition specific to their role and understand the concerns and needs of each individual
  • You are continuously in active control of the process, proactively approach signals of resistance
  • You are flexible to talk business and technology language based on target personas, and you support our prospects to create a customized business case which addresses current pain points
  • You collaborate closely with other members of the sales team and internal departments such as Marketing, Product Marketing along the sales stages
  • You are passionate about selling our data security solutions into large enterprise accounts, especially within data sensitive industries such as Financial Services, Retail, Insurance, etc. 
  • You are at the edge of new technology architectures which enable you to sell data-centric protection in consideration of integration capabilities into any existing Enterprise application landscape – in particular to large accounts
  • You understand the requirements of data privacy and data protection and management, and you ensure industry knowledge and relevant security regulations and requirements
  • You will devise a 90 days Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy based on assigned territories and actively monitor sales success
Professional skills and knowledge
  • Proven track record of sales success in selling into a new market
  • At least 5 years of expertise in winning large deals at enterprise level and selling software solutions
  • Very good understanding of digital transformation and data security needs (PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, PDPA, PII)
  • Good understanding of large deal sales process and lead conversion

Qualification
  • At least 5+ years of experience winning enterprise-level deals selling software and data security solutions.
  • Several years of successful experience in selling complex IT and payment solutions, ideally with a focus on data security and information protection.
  • Academic background in business, technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for consultative, value-based enterprise sales.
  • English: required to be fluent both in oral and written communication
